The Carlisle Conservation Foundation and Carlisle Trails Committee challenge Carlisleans of all ages to collectively walk all the trails in Carlisle in a single day. Individuals, families, neighborhoods, school classes & community groups are invited to participate.

We’re encouraging everyone to experience our wonderful natural environment, build some community, and have fun!


Sign Up

  • Check out our trails map below, select the walk you’d like to take, then sign up here.
  • Invite your friends and family to join, go solo or join an existing group.

Walk Your Walk

  • Gather at the scheduled time and place.
  • Record your completed walk on a form we'll post here by May 18th.
  • Document your walk if you wish, with a GIS tracker, or by taking photographs.
  • Post your photos online using #carlisletrailsday and follow CCF on Instagram @ccf.nature.
  • Free coffee and juice for all walkers all day at Clark Farm Market on Bedford Road.

Post-walk Celebrations

  • 3:00-4:30 pm. Join us at Kimball Farm on Bedford Road to celebrate and record your walk on our Trails Day poster. All walkers 16 and under who pre-register will be given a complimentary coupon for an Ice Cream cone.
  • 5:00-6:30 pm. Or join us at Ferns in Carlisle Center (on the patio) to record your walk and celebrate the day with snacks and beverages including a craft beer and wine tasting at 5:30.
  • Join CCF at 6pm at Ferns for a very brief Annual Meeting and Election of Directors and Officers for the Carlisle Conservation Foundation and Carlisle Land Trust.
